Adobe AIR Challenge final is over

In the last months Adobe AIR Challenge has been taking place. Yesterday we had the final: 3 AIR applications fought for the prizes. Those applications where:

Flair Builder – Cristi Pascu
MiniBuilder – Victor Dramba
Phitodo – Alexandru Ghiura

All three applications did win at least one prize on a category… and the categories where:

User experience and Design
Application Architecture
Novelty/Innovation
Value [...]
Components, Flex resources
Flex/Flash Pivot Table and Charts component

I was recently presented a component that I find interesting and useful at the same time, this is Flex/Flash Pivot Table and Charts component.
The Flexmonster team made a nice multidimensional data visualization, reporting and analysis tool for any BI solution. A few of most important features are:

Flash MiniBuilder is a lightweight IDE created for developing programs written in ActionScript 3. Flash MiniBuilder is itself written in ActionScript.
Two of the main raison tobe of MiniBuilder are:

provide a completely free and cross platform alternative for developing ActionScript projects.
provide an editor with a small footprint that would eventually run on smaller computers like netbooks [...]
