One scenario is that Adobe will acquire this application. About the interface... you can say that it is like the GIMP's interface. Almost all image editing softwares are alike. The interface is better to be common because the users can switch very easily from their old software to this. I'm, also, waiting to see Adobe's next move. They layout looks like an infringement to me. great idea mind you and looks really nice. Just why on earth (unless they are (adobe friends or something) go for such an obvious photoshop rip-off layout.
