RIA

Three RIA Platforms Compared

03.02.08 | Comment?

As time passes the applications tend to move from thick software to thin web applications and they need to be platform and browser independent. This has happened because of the need of having applications that work on all platforms/browsers, have an easy way of getting the server side data, have more reach and also are more easy to install and configure.

For developing this RIA applications we must use some specific frameworks.

Searching the net for some comparisons between the platforms I have just found this nice article that I feel I need to share with you. It is about 3 of the most used frameworks (in my opinion) for developing RIA applications: Adobe Flex, Google Web Toolkit and OpenLaszlo.
